We are delighted to announce that award-winning comedian Sofie Hagen will begin the Danish part of her Dead Baby Frog-tour in Musikhuset Esbjerg
Sofie Hagen’s back and this time she’s angry. Well, she’s talking about anger since she has been left incapable of feeling, well, most things, thanks to her psychopathic grandfather. It’s time to talk about his funeral, even though he’s not dead yet… Is that right? Sofie turns to the parable of the boiled frog for answers.
Sofie Hagen is a Danish standup comedian but this is written in English as her show will be in English. If you understand this, you will understand the show. Really, there is no reason not to get a ticket.
Sofie has graced TV screens across the world, including on Zulu Comedy Gala, Sjov med sex (TV2 Zulu), Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central (Comedy Central), The One Show (BBC) and on many more.
Sofie’s mantelpiece is packed full with awards galore having won Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award’s Best Newcomer (2015), Chortle’s Best Newcomer (2014) and Laughing Horse’s New Act of the Year (2013). She was also runner up in the Leicester Square New Comedian 2013 and a finalist in Funny Women in 2012.
Dead Baby Frog will follow up on Sofie’s multi award-winning show Shimmer Shatter from early 2017 – a successful Danish debut tour with no less than two sold out shows in Copenhagen and performances in selected cities throughout Denmark.
This time she’ll debut in Musikhuset Esbjerg and afterwards she’ll be touring Copenhagen, Odense, Aarhus and Aalborg.
The doors to the Theatre Hall will open at 19.30
